Gents, I met with Laurie at the church this afternoon. All that would be required for a second key to be issued is a new $100 security deposit. Each key is issued to an individual, not to the group. I am willing to be that individual for the second key - assuming that we’re willing and able to pay the new $100 deposit.
I won’t be at this week’s meeting at all - my son is flying in from Florida on Thursday. However, I’m planning on attending next week’s meeting live and in person in the room. I know, quite a shock! Anyway, we should put this up to a business meeting or a group conscience vote - the key deposit, not my attendance! I really look forward to seeing you all next week! Bob F
That's fantastic, Bob! Thanks so much.
Maybe at tomorrow's meeting we can plan out the next week or 2, I'm going to need to take a Thursday off coming up but I want to make sure that we've got enough coverage before committing to anything.
Hey everyone-
My life is a mess right now, and I really need some help. I don't have the focus to maintain my duties as treasurer, and I really can't keep the key anymore because I'm not able to commit to every Thursday.
Bill and I chatted yesterday and historically the secretary was the one who held the key. However, I know that Mark doesn't live super close to the church so it may be better for someone else to have it.
@BobF you had offered at one point (if I remember correctly) to be the Holder of the Key; if I met you and passed it off to you (and of course we updated the paperwork with Laurie) would you be willing to take that on?
